Due to circumstances beyond our control, ETHS has changed the nature of our tour of the high school on Saturday afternoon, July 26th. The district decided to begin an asbestos abatement program, and we are unable to enter any part of the school.    

However, we have been able to secure a tour outside of the building, courtesy of the Evanston History Center. Kris (Forberg) Hartzell will lead a 90 minute tour of the outside of the high school building and campus. Please meet at the front entrance to ETHS on Dodge Avenue (Between North and East Halls) at 2:00pm so the tour can start on time. 

Bottled water will be provided, but no other refreshments will be served. There will be an opportunity at the end of the tour for a group photo with the high school in the background.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this change may cause you.  If you are no longer interested in participating in the tour, please send an e-mail to webmaster@eths1974.com to ask that we delete your tour registration. We do need to have an accurate head count for the tour.
